Terms of Use

1. Introduction
1.1. These Terms of Use describe the way in which you may use the JustType website (www.justtype.co.uk), and the way in which Just Type will operate the Service. By using the services offered by JustType, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and to abide by the Privacy Statement – see below.
1.2. JustType may change the Terms of Use at any time. JustType will notify you of any changes by e-mail or through a notice published on the JustType website. By using the JustType website after being notified of the change, you are agreeing to be bound by the new Terms of Use. If you do not agree to the change you must terminate your membership by e-mailing us on just.ask @ justtype.co.uk .
1.3. Terminating membership does not relieve you of any obligations you have accrued, including payment of any charges due in connection with use of the JustType website or entitle you to a refund of any membership fees paid.

2. Membership
2.1. You must sign up as a member and pay the appropriate annual membership fee before using the services offered by the JustType website.
2.2. Your membership details must be true and correct.
2.3. If at any time your details change then you agree to notify us immediately by e-mailing the changes to just.ask @ justtype.co.uk.
2.4. JustType reserves the right to decline membership and access to JustType’s services.

3. Personal Information
3.1. JustType will respect the privacy of your personal information and undertakes to comply with all applicable Data Protection legislation.
3.2. You agree that JustType may use your personal information in accordance with the purposes for which JustType obtained your permission at membership sign up and in accordance with the Privacy Statement.

4. Service Obligations
4.1. The services of the JustType website are provided without any warranties or guarantees unless otherwise specifically stated.
4.2. JustType agrees to use its best endeavours to ensure that your JustType website is fully operational. As JustType cannot guarantee that this will always be the case, it does not accept liability for any defects which may exist, or for any economic losses, loss of revenues or profits, loss of goodwill or reputation or consequential losses you may suffer which arise from your use of your JustType website or your inability to access your JustType website.
4.3. The JustType website and service is not intended to be used as an online backup facility. Although JustType takes every precaution to protect the material you have entered or uploaded to the JustType website, you should not rely on the JustType website as your only source for this material. You should backup copies of any images or material you have entered and uploaded to the JustType website.
4.4. JustType may offer or promote products and services in cooperation with other companies. If you purchase such products or services directly from other parties, then your contractual relationship is with the company from which you have purchased the product or service. Should any dispute arise between you and the company, JustType takes no responsibility for its settlement, or for any loss or damages that you may incur arising from such dispute.
4.5. The JustType website may contain links to other websites. JustType is not responsible for the content of external internet sites.
4.6. At its discretion JustType reserves the right to remove any images or material on your JustType website and/or to suspend, restrict or terminate your access to your JustType website at any time.
4.7. We reserve the right to forward any images or material uploaded to the JustType website by you, together with your personal details if required, to the police or other regulatory authorities, where requested by them to do so or to a third party where ordered to do so by a Court Order.

5. Using the Service
5.1. You may not upload, or permit others to upload, material to your JustType website if that material infringes or violates the rights of others, contains any offensive language or images, or anything which is obscene, pornographic, misleading, deceptive, threatening, harassing or defamatory.
5.2. You are responsible for the content of photos posted by you on your JustType website and agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless JustType, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, suppliers and any third party information providers to your JustType website from and against any or all losses, expenses, damages and costs including legal fees resulting from any violation of these Terms of Use, or any activity relating to your account by you or any other person accessing your JustType website through your account.
5.3. You agree that you will only use the JustType website in a manner that is consistent with these Terms of Use and in a way that complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
5.4. All fees and charges incurred for use of the JustType service will be charged to your credit card as currently held in our records. You may change the credit card information at any time. If at any time a credit card charge is refused, JustType reserves the right to suspend or terminate your membership, but you will still be responsible for any outstanding fees or charges.
5.5. You will be notified by e-mail of any changes to the JustType fees. The Prices section of the website will also be updated with these changes.
5.6. The annual fee for the JustType website includes the cost of registration for a .co.uk domain or the FREE transfer of an existing domain and subsequent renewal when it becomes due. Costs for domains other than .co.uk can be found in the Prices page of www.justtype.co.uk.
5.7. You will be responsible for the providing all ancillary computer equipment, telephone and other equipment and services in order to access your JustType website and services.
5.8. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your password and are responsible for any use of it. You must notify us immediately with regard to the theft or loss of your password.
5.9. High Resources Usage – JustType websites offer unlimited use of its server resources, where resources are defined as bandwidth, processor utilisation or disk space. In rare cases, JustType may find a customer to be using excessive resources to such an extent that they may jeopardise service performance and resources for other customers. In such instances, and at JustType's discretion, JustType reserves the right to suspend that JustType website immediately. This policy is only implemented in extreme circumstances and is intended to prevent the misuse of JustType’s services. Customers may be offered an option whereby JustType continues supplying the JustType website under reduced usage criteria or at additional cost specified by JustType. Failure to comply with such measures may result in membership being terminated and the JustType website removed.

6. Copyright
6.1. You must own all copyright or have the express permission of the copyright holder for all the pictures and material that you upload to your JustType website. You may not upload or display any images or material on your JustType website to which you have no rights.
6.2. You retain all copyright for the images and materials uploaded to your JustType website. You hereby grant JustType a licence to display these images and material, free of charge, on your JustType website as part of the service.
6.3. You acknowledge that, with the exception of any images or material uploaded and displayed by you on your JustType website, any intellectual property in the remaining content of your Just Type website belongs to JustType.

Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This AUP applies to your use of your Just Type website. You will be responsible for your own JustType website and for the legal and regulatory compliance of your website, and with all applicable laws and regulations. You must not use your website for any illegal purpose or to advertise or sell illegal products or services.

The following activities and material are not permitted on your JustType website:

If you use your Just Type website to sell goods or services, you must comply with all relevant e-commerce legislation, including the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002, the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and other applicable consumer protection or other legislation.

- Form: Maximum of 50 form elements (rows)
- Image Gallery: Maximum of 16 pictures
